argenx US commercial team is looking for a Senior Director, Marketing to prepare the market and organization for the successful launch of one of the late-stage indications. This position will report to VP, Head of US Marketing.
This job is Boston, MA based and will require person to be in office 3 days a week on average. This job also requires travel for activities including but not limited to customer visits, agency visits, advisory boards, congresses and meetings with Japan and Europe teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead development of VYVGART(efgartigimod) launch strategy and promotional plan in one of the late-stage indications (e.g. Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) or Pemphigus vulgaris (PV))
- Form and lead the cross-functional launch team in the successful preparation of the organization for the launch of the new indication. Develop the specific Indication Launch Documents including TPP and Label
- Establish and implement the product positioning, develop global disease state and branded campaigns and messaging, develop and execute personal and non-personal branded and disease state tactics
- Manage interactions with opinion leaders, lead market insight gathering through advisory boards / committee, and oversee speaker bureaus; includes KOL identification and development
- Partner with Global Marketing, EU & Japan Marketing teams, Patient Marketing Team, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Insights team, Lead Scientist and other cross-functional partners on Strategic Planning and campaign creation
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze customer brand / competitive product utilization, and market trends to prepare for product launch. Develop and refine customer segmentation and targeting. Deliver on key brand expectations such as Latest Estimate (LE) forecasts and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
- Develop detailed and effective communication plans, including internal and external messaging, as well as presence at key congresses
- Effectively manage key Agencies as necessary to accomplish the creation of the Brand and market development to support a successful launch
- Aligns with Sales leadership on Sales Representative directives, POA, training ensuring readiness for launch
- Partner across the efgartigimod portfolio to identify and align the needs that differentiate the molecule across indications
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is strongly preferred
- Strong experience in leading launch/es as a marketer
- Experience in Neurology and/or Dermatology is a strong plus
- 8 years of relevant marketing experience:
- At least 5 years of leading HCP marketing in biopharmaceutical industry
- At least 2 years of leading multiple direct reports in biopharmaceutical marketing roles
- Prior experience in commercial functions beyond marketing (e.g. Market Access, Commercial Operations) is a plus
- Strong experience in working with regulatory, legal and compliance
- Prior experience in sales (Rep, DM) is a plus
- 25%-30% travel anticipated
