The Director of US Patient Marketing, Pipeline will lead the development and execution of the VYVGART (efgartigimod) patient strategy and engagement plans to prepare the market and organization for successful launches of late-stage indications in CIDP/ITP/PV. This role will be responsible for disease state awareness & patient activation, product positioning, branded creative campaign & message development; as well as the development and execution of tactical plans to generate demand in patient audiences. The role will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Global Patient Advocacy, Medical Affairs and Commercial. They will be responsible for delivering on key milestones and informing the Senior Leadership Team. This position will report to the Senior Director of US Patient Marketing & Patient Engagement.
This role is hybrid, however the individual will be required to be in the Boston office for key meetings on a regular basis. This job also requires travel for activities including but not limited to customer visits, agency visits, advisory boards, congresses and meetings with Global teams.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead the development of VYVGART (efgartigimod) Patient Launch Strategy in late-stage indications (e.g. Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), ITP and Pemphigus vulgaris (PV).
- Represent Patient Marketing as a member of a cross-functional Launch Team, composed of HCP Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Insights/Analytics and PSP, to interpret key insights and analyze market dynamics in preparation for VYVGART launch in new indications.
- Drive disease state awareness & education, define positioning, patient segmentation and patient journey.
- Develop & execute patient-facing tactical plans and patient education strategy. Lead the development of DSA and branded campaigns, consumer messaging, promotional resources and initiatives for patient audiences.
- Build an omni-channel digital ecosystem, inclusive of patient websites (DSA and branded), as well as digital and social media strategy to activate patients and caregivers pre-launch and generate demand post launch.
- Partner with Global Patient Advocacy to ensure patient voice is authentically represented throughout the organization.
- Partner with HCP Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Insights team, Finance and other cross-functional partners to develop annual Strategic Brand Plans and manage associated budgets. Deliver on key brand expectations such as Latest Estimate (LE) forecasts and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
- Lead agency partners to ensure effective execution on deliverables and resources, as well as alignment and synergy across agency partners
- Align with PSP and field leadership on field representative directives, POA, training ensuring readiness for launch
Education, Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (health sciences /life sciences preferred); MBA is strongly preferred with 8-10 years experience
- Experience in Neurology / Hematology-Oncology / Dermatology a strong plus
- Strong Marketing experience with focus on Product Launch, Rare Disease, Patient Marketing, Patient Advocacy
- Track record of professional growth & increasing responsibility within Marketing in biopharmaceutical industry
- Experience in People Management (2+ years of leading direct reports in biopharmaceutical marketing roles)
- Strong understanding and proven track record of working with regulatory, legal and compliance functions
- Prior experience in the field a plus
- 25%-30% travel anticipated
